EASY TO USE: Once the main body bat has drilled pin holes the bat will easily slip on and off wheel head pins. To use simply insert square insert into the main bat, throw a pot then wire before removing insert using a flat potter’s tool and placing onto a drying shelf. POTTERY BAT SYSTEM INCLUDES; Main body bat diameter is 12.2” fitting most standard wheel heads. With no pre drilled pin holes you can customise holes and sizes to your requirements using a drill. Includes 5 x square inserts 7×7” SNUG FIT: Both pin holes and inserts are designed to be a sung fit and to firmly hold the bat to the wheel head to limited movement when throwing. If too tight for your preference the holes and inserts can easily be sized down with a nail file or sandpaper. EASY CARE: When finished using simply wipe bats with a damp sponge to clean. Store and dry bats and inserts stacked on their side. If the inserts swell, allow to dry completely before using again. If inserts warp, flattened by drying in a stack with heavy weight on them.
